What's In The Name: Kateri Energy

Kateri Tekakwitha, a 17th century member of the Mohawk tribe and Iroquois Nation, is the patron of Indigenous peoples, the ecology, and ‘care for creation’. Kateri’s life embodied the sacred duty to be stewards of the earth and to use natural resources to glorify God by uplifting people and the environment. Kateri employed nature's wonders as revelations of Earth’s nobility and elegance. She cared for the sick and fostered a respect for human life. We at Kateri Energy converge the same principles embodied by Kateri Tekakwitha by promoting energy solutions that balance human needs with ecologically sound practices.
